Magnolia Appliances (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the retail appliance store at 10985 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92505 and this website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website, contacting us, or shopping with us, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to sell, deliver, and service appliances:
- Contact information you give us: name, mobile phone number, email address, and delivery address.
- Purchase information: the appliances you buy or ask about, model numbers, prices, payment method, and delivery or installation details.
- Messages you send us: texts, calls, emails, and photos of your space or existing appliances.
- Financing inquiries: if you ask us to, we pass your application details to the lender you choose. We do not run credit checks ourselves and we do not store your Social Security number or bank credentials.
- Website usage: standard server logs and, if enabled, basic analytics such as pages viewed and general location. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.
2. How we use your information
To answer your questions, quote and confirm availability, process payments, schedule delivery and installation, honor warranties and exchanges, send you order and delivery updates, and, if you have opted in, tell you about new arrivals and sales. We also use it to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
3. Text messaging and mobile information
We use SMS to confirm orders, coordinate delivery windows, answer product questions, and, with your consent, share promotions. You provide your mobile number and consent when you text us, give it to us in the store, or submit it through a form on this website.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and message delivery, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. See our Terms and Conditions for the full messaging program terms.
4. How we share information
We share your information only in these cases:
- Service providers who work on our behalf, such as our delivery crews, payment processor, messaging provider, and website host. They may use your information only to perform that work for us.
- Financing companies you choose, such as Progressive Leasing, Snap Finance, Acima, or Wells Fargo, and only when you ask us to submit an application. Their own privacy policies then govern that relationship.
- Manufacturers, when a warranty claim or service call requires it.
- Legal compliance, when we are required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
5. We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not participate in cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out. You may still receive messages directly related to a purchase already in progress.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link, or ask us and we will remove you.
- Access, correction, and deletion: call or email us and we will provide, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep for tax and warranty purposes.
7. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request a copy or deletion of it, to correct inaccuracies, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To make a request, call (951) 809-1172 or email magnoliaappliances22@gmail.com.
8. Data retention and security
We keep purchase and warranty records as long as needed to service the appliance and satisfy legal requirements, and we keep contact information until you ask us to remove it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The effective date at the top will always reflect the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
11. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as browser cookies, pixels, and analytics tools) to operate our website, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; some site features may not function properly without them. We do not use cookies to collect SMS opt-in information, and tracking data is never combined with your phone number for marketing purposes.
